Introduction

As followers of Christ, we are called to focus our hearts and minds on God’s Kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33:

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

The more time we spend searching for the Kingdom, the more we will find it. But discovering the Kingdom requires more than just knowledge—it demands a shift in how we live, think, and speak. We must not only talk about the Kingdom but learn to live and speak from it.

Let us explore the language of the Kingdom together and uncover its profound implications for our daily lives.

1. The Kingdom Is God’s Idea

The Kingdom of God was established from the very beginning of creation. In Genesis 1:26, God declared:

“Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

This mandate to rule was God’s way of establishing His Kingdom on earth. Psalm 115:16 reminds us:

“The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to mankind.”

Yet, our modern, Western culture often struggles to grasp the true concept of a Kingdom. Corrupt practices and human misunderstandings have distorted its meaning.

Jesus, however, brought clarity. His primary mission and highest priority were the Kingdom. He preached about it, taught its principles, and revealed its original design. Jesus’ life and ministry were a restoration of the Kingdom that God had established from the beginning.

2. Religion Is Man’s Idea

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, humanity lost the Kingdom—not Heaven. This loss created a void that people tried to fill by building their own kingdoms and clinging to religion as a means of earning God’s favor.

But religion was never God’s idea. Instead of restoring the Kingdom, religion became a barrier to it. Jesus emphasized this truth throughout His teachings, showing that it is only by embracing the Kingdom that we can truly align with God’s will.

3. The Language of the Kingdom

One of the most distinctive aspects of the Kingdom is its language. Today, we often speak an earthly language, disconnected from the unity and power of the Kingdom’s language.

Genesis 11:1-6 reveals the power of a unified language:

“Now the whole world had one language and a common speech… The Lord said, ‘If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.’”

Proverbs 18:21 adds:

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

The language of the Kingdom is rooted in unity, not just among ourselves, but in unity with God. As Miles Monroe said, “The language of God is Unity in Him, not Unity in us without Him.”

When we align our words with God’s Word, His character, and His ways, we unlock the authority and power of His promises. John 15:7 reminds us:

“If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

Isaiah 55:11 confirms that God’s Word will never return void:

“So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

To speak the language of the Kingdom, we must repent—change our minds, our words, and our vision. This transformation begins in our homes and communities as we embrace the unity and truth of God’s language.

4. Manifesting the Kingdom

The Kingdom of God is not a distant concept—it is within us. Romans 14:17 explains:

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

Through Jesus’ finished work on the cross, humanity’s position in the Kingdom has been restored. As we speak the language of the Kingdom—God’s language—His Word will manifest in our lives, and Heaven will touch earth.

When we speak as one in Him, nothing will be impossible. Matthew 18:19 promises:

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

Conclusion

We were created to reign on earth here and now. By embracing the language of the Kingdom, we align ourselves with God’s will and bring His Kingdom to life in our everyday experiences.

Let us speak His language of unity, righteousness, and truth. When we do, His Word will never return empty, and we will witness the impossible become possible.

Be Blessed,

Barry.
