Introduction
Do you believe that God’s work is complete and that you are part of His perfect plan?
Do you believe that you are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ, filled with power and called to walk in His Kingdom?
If this truth hasn’t fully taken root in your heart, I encourage you to declare it daily until it becomes part of your identity.
So often, when discussing the Kingdom with others, it feels like they’re listening, but their understanding is absent. The lights are on, but no one is home.
This realization brings to mind the scripture: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)
In their defense, how will people understand if they do not hear, or hear if no one preaches, or preach if no one is sent?
If you are part of a community where you are fed with life-changing truths, remember, it is not for you to keep to yourself — it is to share with others.
God didn’t create us to live in fear or with a mindset of defeat. Instead, He created us in His image to be righteous, courageous, and filled with His Kingdom. We are designed to have dominion on Earth and to reign forever in His authority.
God’s Sovereign Plan
Many have been taught about a future event where believers will be raptured away. But the Word reveals a different truth. God is not a God of fear and flight — He is sovereign and intentional.
From the very beginning, God had a perfect plan: to create humanity in His image, reflecting His character and demonstrating His Kingdom here on Earth. If God’s ultimate goal was for us to reside in heaven, He would have kept us there.
Psalm 115:16 says, “The heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to the children of man.”
Psalm 37:29 declares, “The righteous will inherit the earth and dwell in it forever.”
God’s Word is not empty or inconsistent. If the earth were destined for destruction and believers were meant to escape, these scriptures would contradict His promises. But Numbers 23:19 reminds us: “God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do it?”
The truth is, God’s work was finished the moment Jesus declared, “It is finished.” (John 19:30) Creation is now waiting, not for God to act further, but for His children to take their rightful place as rulers on this Earth (Romans 8:19).
Breaking Through Limitations
What keeps people from stepping into their authority and identity as children of God?
The answer lies in one word: mindset.
Jesus’ first public message in Matthew 4:17 was: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” The word “repent” in Greek (metanoó) means to change one’s mindset or direction. It’s not just about regret; it’s about transformation.
Unfortunately, many of us struggle to leave behind years of religious teaching that emphasized fear, unworthiness, or waiting for a distant future glory. These ingrained beliefs limit us from accepting the fullness of who we already are in Christ.
Take, for example, the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land. God delivered them from slavery in Egypt in 40 days, but it took 40 years for them to enter the Promised Land because of their slave mindset. They were unable to see themselves as free and victorious, and many never experienced the promises of God.
To experience the Kingdom of God on Earth, we must renew our minds daily with His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. Only then can we walk in the authority God intended for us from the beginning.
Accepting God’s Spoken Word
One of the most powerful truths is that God’s Word over our lives is already spoken and accomplished. He exists outside of time, and His declarations are final.
Consider the story in 1 Kings 17:8-16, where God instructed Elijah to go to a widow in Zarephath, saying, “I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” However, when Elijah arrived, the widow wasn’t aware of this command. She was preparing for her and her son’s final meal before death.
It wasn’t until Elijah declared God’s Word to her, and she acted in faith, that the promise was fulfilled. The Word had been spoken, but it required her belief and action to bring it to fruition.
Similarly, God has spoken over your life. His declarations are fulfilled, but they require your faith and willingness to act. Don’t let a religious mindset or doubt rob you of the fulfillment of His promises.
Declare This Truth Over Your Life
Here is a declaration you can make today:
- I am the righteousness of God.
- I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth.
- I am filled with power, righteousness, and the Kingdom of God.
- God’s Word over my life is accomplished and unshakable.
Let us pray:
Father, let it be as You have spoken over me. Your Word stands firm forever. Holy Spirit, renew my mind daily so that my life reflects Your truth. I am who You say I am. Your finished work will be visible in my life to the glory of Your Name and Kingdom. Amen.
Because in Christ, we lack nothing—we are already complete.
Be Blessed.
Barry.
